Case Study: Faith, Climate Justice, and Global Communication
Client: Laudato Si’ MovementObjective: Strengthen communication and engagement among Catholic climate activists
Services: Content audit, social media strategy, email marketing, global campaign launch
The Laudato Si’ Movement brings together thousands of Catholic activists committed to climate justice and the care of our Common Home. At Guaraní, we collaborated on the strategy and execution of their digital communications, working with teams across multiple countries to amplify their message and engage new audiences.
Our work included a social media content audit and the development of new narratives that better resonated with faith-based communities, incorporating a more contemporary tone, visual style, and content formats. We coordinated engagement campaigns and digital activations aimed at young people, parish communities, and religious leaders.
One of the most significant milestones was our collaboration on the global launch of The Letter, a documentary featuring Pope Francis and climate activists from around the world. For this event, we worked closely with the Laudato Si’ team to design communication actions in Rome, support the social media strategy, and execute email marketing campaigns targeting their global network of followers.
The result: a stronger connection between spirituality and climate action, supported by digital tools that inspired, organized, and mobilized thousands of people worldwide.
